Ceasefire Declared Ahead of Easter Holiday

KEYIR NEWS:- Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a partial ceasefire in the ongoing conflict with Ukraine in observance of the upcoming Easter holiday.

According to Kremlin sources, the ceasefire will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday and remain in effect until midnight on Sunday. During this period, all Russian military operations will be temporarily suspended.

Al Jazeera reports that Ukraine is expected to reciprocate by declaring a full ceasefire for the duration of the holiday, marking a rare moment of pause in the conflict.

The ceasefire offers a brief window of relief for civilians and could serve as a symbolic gesture of goodwill during the religious observance.
